Hi! My name is Emily. I’m a fourteen year old girl, who LOVES to bake! I love to eat healthy, but I could NEVER pass up a good dessert. My dream is to one day go to CIA (Culinary Institute of America) and become a professional chef  (preferably a pastry chef) and open up a restaurant.  I have learned most of what I know about baking  from my  grandma, Meme. Her recipes are delicious and will never fail to satisfy. However, not all my recipes come from my grandma; in fact some come from my great great grandma. The recipes from my grandma and great great grandma are truly southern recipes, using lots of butter and sugar. Because of the simplicity of these recipes, a person with little to no experience with baking can easily make these recipes and have confidence when serving them.
